Terms and Conditions for New Hampshire Family Justice (NHFJ)
Organization, NHFJ, NH Family Justice, we, our(s), us, representative(s): Refers to New Hampshire Family Justice, Inc., a registered nonprofit organization in the State of New Hampshire. Participants: All individuals engaging in NHFJ’s activities, including volunteers, advocates, attendees, users of our website, or donors. Activities: All programs, events, meetings, online interactions, publications, and any other organizational engagements. User: Refers to You, yours, participant, individual, guardian, parent(s) or person who otherwise engages with NHFJ or our affiliates and/or associates. User Content: Any content uploaded, posted, or shared by users on NHFJ platforms, including comments, images, videos, or documents. Platforms: NHFJ’s website, social media pages, online portals, and any digital or physical venue operated by NHFJ. Services: All services, resources, or benefits provided by NHFJ to Participants. Policy: Any organizational policy, including Privacy Policy, Anti-Harassment Policy, Cookie Policy, or others referenced herein.
Acceptance of Terms & Binding Agreement
By engaging with NHFJ activities, using its platforms, providing donations, or participating in any way, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Minors must have guardian consent, and guardians are responsible for their child's conduct. You acknowledge that these Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NHFJ, and continued participation implies acceptance of any updates.
Legal Entity & Authority
Organization Identity: NHFJ is a nonprofit corporation incorporated under the laws of New Hampshire, operating under the name New Hampshire Family Justice, Inc. Our goal is to provide family justice services in accordance with our mission: the organization is committed to advocacy to safeguard children and families, defend Constitutional rights and due process, and to demand accountability, efficiency, and transparency in state child and family systems. We achieve this through advocacy, education, resources, data analytics and our organizational activities. Authority & Representation: All official communications and representations are authorized by NHFJ’s governing board and officers. No individual or external entity has the authority to bind or represent NHFJ unless explicitly authorized.
Scope of Application
These Terms, including our Privacy Policy, Anti-Harassment Policy, Cookie Policy, and other referenced policies, govern shall be in accordance with state and federal laws as applicable:

Legal Clause: Your conduct at all times, including technology use and/or in all venues and/or events involving NHFJ shall be governed by these Terms. Violations may result in legal remedies including removal, suspension, termination, or legal action.
Use of Website & Conduct
Access & Use: All users and/or participants access of NHFJ’s technology, platforms, media and communications will be in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms. Unauthorized interference, hacking, or misuse is prohibited and carry legal consequences. Conduct Standards: Participants shall not engage in unlawful, harmful, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct, including harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or sharing false information. Content & Intellectual Property: All content on NHFJ platforms, including logos, trademarks, videos, publications, and images or other intellectual property, are protected under copyright and trademark or other applicable laws. Content may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed outside permitted purposes without prior written consent from NHFJ. Application to All Engagements: These policies apply at all times and in all venues—physical, virtual, or hybrid—including informal settings in the course of business. Legal Clause: Participants shall comply with these Terms during all interactions and activities. Violations may result in disciplinary or legal action, including removal or legal proceedings.
Participation & Conduct Policies
Ethical & Legal Behavior: All individuals shall act ethically, lawfully, and respectfully at all times when engaged with NHFJ and/or NHFJ staff, volunteers, or advocates. This includes following established safety protocols and laws, confidentiality obligations, and organizational policies. Prohibited Conduct: Misconduct includes acts of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, violence, stalking or any other unacceptable and unlawful acts. Safety & Confidentiality: Participants shall respect safety guidelines and maintain confidentiality of organizational and participant information at all times. Accessibility & Non-Discrimination: NHFJ is committed to providing accessible services and ensuring an environment free from discrimination or harassment, in accordance with applicable laws (e.g., ADA, Section 504, Title VII). Legal Clause: Any misconduct or breach of conduct policies at any location, technology application or other mode of engagement may result in disciplinary measures, including removal, suspension, or legal action.
Donations & Financial Contributions
In Kind Donations: All donations are voluntary, made in good faith, and non-refundable unless legally required. Tax & Legal Compliance: NHFJ is a 501(c)(4) organization. Contributions may or may not be tax deductible in accordance with federal and state laws, consult your tax professional concerning your donation activities. Donors contributions should be in accordance with applicable laws, which also determine lawful funding sources. Use of Funds: All donation funds will be used solely for NHFJ’s organizational purposes and in accordance with applicable laws.
Privacy, Data Security & Intellectual Property
Data Collection & Privacy: Participant data is processed and stored in accordance with applicable laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and New Hampshire state laws. Our Privacy Policy explains data practices and rights. Data Security & Breach Notification: NHFJ implements reasonable security measures through our website host or other technology affiliation association. In case of a data breach, affected individuals will be notified as legally required. User Content & License: Participants grant NHFJ a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and modify User Content shared on our platforms for organizational purposes. Participants warrant the right to choose to share such content and agree such content does not infringe upon third-party rights. Intellectual Property Rights: All content, including logos, trademarks, publications, and all materials, are owned or licensed by NHFJ. No content may be copied, reproduced, or used outside permitted purposes without explicit permission. Media & Recordings: NHFJ may record or photograph events. Participants grant permission for such media to be used in promotional, educational, or organizational activities without additional compensation or notification.
Liability, Disclaimers & Indemnity
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, NHFJ and its affiliates shall not be liable for damages arising from participation, use of platforms, or activities, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive. No Warranties: Content, services, thank you gifts, activities are provided “as is,” without warranties or guarantees of any kind. Indemnification: Participants agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NHFJ and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, or any costs arising from breaches of these Terms, misconduct, unlawful acts, third-party, weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Force Majeure: NHFJ shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or government actions. Entire Agreement & Severability: These Terms, including policies, constitute the entire agreement. If any part is invalid, the rest remains enforceable.
Organizational & Participant Protections
Confidentiality & Data Handling: All individuals shall maintain confidentiality of organizational and participant information. Unauthorized disclosures may lead to termination and/or up to legal action. Ethical & Legal Conduct: All participants shall act lawfully and respectfully. Violations include harassment, discrimination, or retaliation, which may result in immediate removal and/or legal action. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration: Disputes shall be resolved via binding arbitration under AAA rules in New Hampshire. The arbitration’s decision is final and binding. Intellectual Property & Branding: All NHFJ trademarks, logos, and materials are protected. Unauthorized use outside authorized purposes is prohibited. Monitoring & Enforcement: NHFJ reserves the right to monitor, review, and enforce compliance, including terminating access or reporting violations.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Arbitration: Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration per AAA rules, conducted in New Hampshire. Jurisdiction & Venue: For disputes not subject to arbitration, jurisdiction is in New Hampshire courts. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by New Hampshire law. Provisional & Emergency Relief: NHFJ reserves the right to seek provisional or injunctive relief in courts of competent jurisdiction to protect its rights and intellectual property.
Rights to Amend & Terminate
Amendments: NHFJ may update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued engagement indicates acceptance of revisions. Termination: NHFJ may suspend or terminate access or participation of any and at all NHFJ activities for violations, misconduct, or breach of these Terms.
Additional Legal Provisions
Acknowledgment & Consent: Participation in any onsite or offsite activity, event, or other engagement with NHFJ or its representatives constitutes acknowledgment and agreement to these Terms and Conditions and governing state and federal laws. Confidentiality & Proprietary Information: Participants shall not disclose proprietary or sensitive information accessed during engagement. Anti-Harassment & Non-Discrimination: NHFJ maintains a zero-tolerance policy against harassment, discrimination, retaliation or other illegal actions. No Partnership or Employment: Participation does not create employment, partnership, or agency relationships. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability: NHFJ disclaims warranties and liabilities beyond entities legal obligations. Contact & Notices: All notices shall be addressed to the contact details provided or posted on NHFJ’s platforms.
Final Legal Acknowledgment and Consent
By participating in, attending, or otherwise engaging in any onsite or offsite activities, events, and/or any programs organized or hosted by NHFJ, or by using the NHFJ website, social media, or communicating with NHFJ’s representatives, through your participation you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. Consent and Agreement: You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all policies, conduct standards, and organizational rules. Scope of Activities: These Terms govern your conduct and participation in all NHFJ activities, whether onsite, offsite, virtual, or informal at all times or medium. Behavior Expectations: You agree to conduct yourself ethically, lawfully, and respectfully at all times, including during special events, meetings, and any interactions with NHFJ’s staff, volunteers, or other participants. Legal Authority: If engaging on behalf of a minor or organization, you warrant that you have the legal authority to do so and have authority to bind those entities to these Terms. Assumption of Risk & Responsibility: You/your participation is by your choice voluntarily and assume all risks associated with your participation. You agree to follow all safety instructions and organizational policies at all times when engaging with NHFJ or it’s representatives. Full Acceptance: Your participation, attendance, and engagement in any activity or interaction with NHFJ or its representatives signify your full acceptance of these Terms and your agreement to abide by them.
Additional Clarifications & Best Practices
Minors & Guardians: Minors cannot participate without parent or guardian approval. Parents or Guardians accept responsibility for minors’ interactions, engagement, conduct and liabilities. Policy Updates: Participants agree to abide by policies linked or referenced on NHFJ’s website, which may be updated periodically. External Content & Links: NHFJ is not responsible for third-party website content or external links. Cookies & Tracking Technologies: If applicable and/or necessary, NHFJ’s website may use cookies. Legal Remedies & Injunctive Relief: NHFJ reserves the right to seek injunctive relief or other legal remedies to protect its rights and intellectual property. Environmental & Sustainability Commitments: NHFJ endeavors to incorporate sustainable practices for activities and promotes environmental responsibility when possible.
Data Retention & Deletion
NHFJ may retain participant data only as long as necessary for organizational purposes or as required by law. Emergency & Safety Protocols: Participants agree to follow all safety instructions during onsite activities as well as laws that ensure public safety, including emergency procedures. Media & Content Use Post-Participation: Participation by any participant consents to media recordings in the course of business activities, which includes rights for NHFJ to use images/videos for promotional purposes. Automatic Updates & Acceptance: We encourage our guests and participants to review terms and conditions to remain up to date on any changes. Continued participation or use of NHFJ platforms constitutes acceptance of any updates to these Terms or policies. Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution: Disputes will be resolved under New Hampshire law, with courts in NH having jurisdiction when applicable or federal law as applicable. Feedback & Reporting: Participants are encouraged to report user violations or concerns via website contact information.

Disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA rules in New Hampshire. The arbitration decision shall be final and binding. Any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be resolved in the courts of New Hampshire, and these Terms shall be governed by New Hampshire law or federal law when applicable.
Continued Use & Updates
Your continued participation or use of NHFJ’s platforms constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any updates or modifications made by NHFJ. NHFJ reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
